So my good friend Caitlin and I have a favorite sushi place, Moto's.
Simply because it is the best!
Kyle had tried sushi but wasn't really sold on it.
Problem #1- It wasn't from Moto's.
Problem #2- He had only had it from buffets. (yikes!)
So today when he came to visit me it was a must do, on our list of things to do!
Went we got to Moto's I had him read most of the menu because its is really funny!
After we had a good laugh I ordered some edamame.
Which is just the fancy way of saying soy beans.
Then I taught him how you eat them, and he agreed that they are addicting to eat!
After looking over the menu and explain the different things to him,
I ordered an Alaska roll, a Vegas roll, and a Rainbow roll.
We decided that was a good variety, also Alaska and Vegas are top two for sure!
Kyle took his first bite and... it was bliss! He loved it!
He always makes great facial expressions and he definitely was enjoying everything!
It was super exciting!
Sushi is about knowing where to go and what to order!
Afterwards we made chocolate chip cookie dough and homemade ice cream!
Then Kyle left Friday afternoon to go visit Caden,
his close friend that was getting ready to leave for his mission in 5 days!
So soon! Before he left we made breakfast, went swimming, and made some more ice cream.
On Saturday I went to Mesa to meet up with them and we went swimming.
Then it was off to the Salt River and a quick stop for food! It was quite a toasty day!
And after the river we hurry back to Caden's and changed real quick to go to The D-backs game!
We had "suite" seats! It was a blast! And then on the way back to Mesa we held the side doors open the whole way so we could get some air! Caden's windows don't go down! :p
Then it was fair well to Caden and good bye to Kyle.
Except 10 minutes after I left I got a message from facebook on my phone and it was Kyle.
He said he left his phone in my car! I couldn't even figure out how that would have happened.
So I turned around and messaged back that I didn't see his phone.
And then I tried calling it and didn't hear it.
So he went and checked his car and guess what?
Right before I got back he found it in his car. So crazy.
Kyle keeps life fun for sure!
